I am not a resolution kinda girl. I am more of a goal setter and for a few years now I have wanted to give back in a big way. And finally, FINALLY I have decided what I want to do! #SpirithorseGives!
Every month I will support a different animal rescue or sanctuary by donating $1.00 from each item sold during that month.
And if you would like to donate more, when you are shopping with us, add the Support Our Cause product to your shopping cart. You will be able to add the donation amount of your choice and that will be added to our monthly donation given!
I will come back and share the amazing amount we are able to donate the following month here on the blog as well as on social media (be sure to follow us!) and in our letters to The Herd (are you a member? Well you should be!)
For January, our rescue is Hartsong Ranch Animal Sanctuary in California.
Hartsong is a magical, hidden place for previously neglected, abused, unadoptable horses and farm animals. Their mission is to provide a landscape of quiet and tranquility for the animals that live within their gates – a place where they can enjoy nature, peace of mind and suffer no more.
Daily, they care for more than 60 animals, many who have special needs. Some are blind, some are deaf, and some are three legged and some carry emotional scares from years of abuse. Hartsong is their forever home.
Hartsong is also the home of The UnderDOG Railroad. They pull from high-kill shelters the weak, the weary and terrified. The shy, deaf and blind. The discarded, bruised, and battered. The misunderstood – those that are never allowed onto the adoption floor due to failed temperament evaluations. They see their inner light…
I am SO honored to be able to help Hartsong Ranch this month!
And so very grateful to my horse hair jewelry clients who help me make a difference <3 Let’s help those, who cannot ask for help.
And when you donate, use #SpirithorseGives and share what an amazing person you are! I will find it and you’ll have an opportunity to be featured!
Do you know of another rescue that could use some help?
Let me know in the comments below or send me a note with the email to the right >>>, and I will be sure to add them to my list.
